The common side effects of this medicine are nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, rashes, etc. You may also experience injection site redness, swelling, and pain that goes away with time. If any of the side effects get aggravated, you must consult your doctor immediately. If you experience any allergic reaction (rashes, itching, swelling, shortness of breath, etc.), you must seek immediate medical help.

It is used to treat many different types of bacterial infections such as infections of lungs (pneumonia) and urinary tract. It is given by a doctor or nurse into a vein and should not be self-administered. Meroza XP Injection usually makes you feel better very quickly but you should continue taking it as prescribed even when you feel better to make sure that all bacteria are killed and do not become resistant.

HOW MEROZA XP INJECTION WORKS

Meroza XP Injection is a combination of two medicines: Meropenem and Sulbactam. Meropenem is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Sulbactam is a beta-lactamase inhibitor which blocks the action of enzymes produced by bacteria to inactivate Meropenem. Addition of Sulbactam reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Meropenem against bacteria.
