Synvisc one injection are derivative of hyaluronan, a sodium salt of hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronan is a component of synovial fluid, a fluid responsible for viscosity in joints that helps in mobility. Synvisc one injection polymer A&B G-F 20 is given as an intra-articular injection for patients with knee osteoarthritis. It is used to decrease the pain and discomfort associated with knee disorders by acting as a temporary replacement of synovial fluid, which is helpful for patients who use the affected knee regularly. It may be used alone or in combination with other medicines. Do not consume this medication if you are allergic to Proteolytic or its ingredients.Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to get pregnant, or breastfeeding before taking this medicine. Before taking this medicine, talk to your doctor about all the medicines you are taking recently, including supplements and herbal medicines. Notify your doctor if you have a knee joint infection, skin disease or infection on the injection site, or systemic bleeding disorders. Before receiving Synvisc one, tell your doctor if you have severe knee inflammation, lymphatic or venous stasis (swollen or inflamed) in the leg to be injected, and chondrocalcinosis (presence of CPP (calcium pyrophosphate dihydrate) crystals in and around the joints).
